The Opus 1 Byzantine Subwoofer combines leading-edge acoustics with the flexibility of user-selected aesthetics. It is perfectly suited for a home theater special effects channel. It adds a big punch to your movie and music experience. The union of an advanced 8” driver with a powerful 100 watt RMS amplifier produces rich, deep bass sounds! The speaker’s built-in mounting points (carpet spikes or furniture feet) provide the sonic isolation required in a high quality subwoofer system.

Purchasing this subwoofer as a kit can give greater enjoyment, because you save money and you get to assemble it yourself. It’s easy and requires no special knowledge. Woodworking is already completed. Assembly consists of securing components, cutting and attaching acoustic foam, and simply plugging in the wiring harness. The only tools needed are a pair of scissors and a screwdriver. In about an hour you can assemble your own Opus 1 Byzantine Subwoofer. Best of all, you can say “I built it myself”!
