Dave Ziler grew up in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia and now resides in Perkasie, PA. He started playing the guitar at an early age and became proficient on the mandolin in the 1980s. Dave has played guitar and mandolin with acoustic music bands in Western Pennsylvania, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. After a several year absence from music, and settling into the Philadelphia area in 2010, he has either been a member of, or filled in with, Without a Paddle, Hilltown, Deep City Healers, Bovine Social Club, Midnight Flyer, and Blue Roots. Dave is also a bluegrass songwriter and has many compositions recorded by several regionally successful Bluegrass bands.

Guy Leatherman started playing the guitar in the 1980s and, in addition to Bluegrass, is an avid fan of Jazz, Blues, and Classic Rock. He is proficient on bass and guitar, and sings lead and harmony vocals. Guy was first exposed to Bluegrass music at the Philadelphia Folk Festival in the early 1990s and began playing bass shortly thereafter. His repertoire is heavily influenced by the Stanley Brothers and Flatt & Scruggs. Originally from Lawrenceville, NJ, Guy now lives in Doylestown, PA. Guy was a long time member of the popular NJ Bluegrass band Heavy Traffic and is often sought out to fill in on bass with other local Bluegrass bands. He has been a member of, or filled in with Lost Ramblers, Magnolia Street String Band, Blue Roots, Tuesday Mountain Boys, Blades of Grass, and Twisted Timbers.

Ed Lick was first exposed to Bluegrass in 1973 as a young teenager and is a multi-instrumentalist that started playing in Philadelphia area bands in 1974. Ed’s approach to the mandolin incorporates elements of many of the great players, especially David Grisman (aka DAWG), yet he remains firmly rooted with the bluegrass style and has an individuality all his own. In addition to the mandolin, Ed is proficient on banjo & pedal steel guitar. He sings lead as well as the tenor and baritone harmony parts. Ed organized and hosted the Washington House jam sessions in Sellersville, PA from 2006 until 2020 and currently resides in Green Lane, PA. He was a founding member of the acclaimed local bluegrass band Blue Roots, and most recently joined Hickory Project and Level Best on their European tours.
